1. BUSTED: Bill Belichick

His career and achievements speak for themselves. By no means am I diminishing his career but this dude is chalked. His style of coaching is outdated and I believe he has trouble controlling the locker room with his style. We have seen guys like Dan Cambell and Nick Sirianni revive teams by stressing growth and team culture. Bill stresses doing your job, and I don’t think that is the best way to approach a team anymore. The real problem with Bellichick is his GM ability. The Patriots have the least talented roster in the league. Their skill guys are not capable of physicality or separation. They certainly are not beating anyone in scramble drills or with speed. This all points to years of neglecting your skill positions. Retire before you become the villain Billy.
2. DOOMED: Josh Allen

I never thought Josh would make it to the doomed stage. With seemingly enough talent to pull him out of any slump, I fear Josh Allen might have peaked already. While EXTREMELY talented, he is so beyond reckless with the rock that his play mimics a roller coaster. Throw his QBR on a line graph and it actually looks like a sound wave. For every peak, there is an equally low valley on the reciprocal. This play is not sustainable in the NFL. His career path is trending in a way that reminds me of Carson Wentz. The dude is allergic to ball security., and if there is one thing we know about ball security, it equals job security. The Bills Just fired Ken Dorsey, because they can't cut Josh. Hopefully this is the spark that gets 17 and the Bills back on track. I fear the Bills stick to their franchise history and end up winning nothing this year…
3. Boom: Cooper Kupp

Stafford is expected to play. I should have started this by saying Brett Rypien is NOT playing. I expect a massive bounce back, assuming Stafford's thumb/ hand will hold up through 60 mins of game action. Puka has been a blessing for Kupp as he now has less attention on him in the back half of his career. More isolation against a single zone or man and Stafford/McVay will be able to identify the defensive tendencies immediately and will make adjustments with both receivers accordingly. I get the sense they still look to Kupp for their “gotta have it ” situations. This is a home game against a familiar opponent and last time Kupp was put there against the Seahawks was in 2021, where he torched them for 9-136-2. I'm expecting another stat line in this ball park.
